  1. Congrats! Pics when you get them.
  2. Can't add to the discussion Todd, but if you're ever looking for a co-angler I just live up the Snyder from you. LOL
  3. Legend is a mfg as well. http://www.nadaguides.com/Boats/2004/Legend-Boats-Ltd
  4. Definitely a great transformation. Looking forward to seeing the finished boat,
  5. Which 5.11? I have their sling pack and really like the quality. I'm sure their clothing is top notch as well.
  6. I watched that today. Awesome job!
  7. If 2 rigs: Some type of plastic and shallow diving crank. If 3 rigs I'll add a topwater.
  8. I threw Gitzit tubes for the first time last fall. Green Pumpkin is the preferred color where I was fishing and I had limited success, My technique needs improving I'm sure.
  9. Flukes, Senkos and Berkley Power Worms are typically my go to plastics.
  10. Graduated with a degree in Human Resources...spent 20 years in retail management (non HR related) and the last 15 years working in radio.
  11. I use a Carolina Keeper to quickly adjust the leader length. Being new to the c-rig, this allows me to find what zone the fish are in without guessing and re-tieing leaders.
  12. I use a zip tie. It seems to work well enough.
  13. I fish GC ponds quite a bit. My strikes are coming on flukes, near what little cover there is, and shallow running crank baits. Ours don't have much visible structure but most of the ones I catch are either on the dam side or the spillway side on the opposite bank. Once the vegetation comes in, Texas rigged plastics, jigs and frogs work well in the slop. Welcome to the forums.
