  4. Find a jig that suits your situation/attatch a 4 inch curly tail worm open hooked.
  5. for what water clarity?
  6. Now what about a very clear lake? Very Slightly stained?
  7. Which topwater lure creates the most action, noise distraction, etc. for most active fish?
  8. I'm fishing a small few hundred acre lake that's muddy so I need to know which color to purchase. Does the top matter? Or is the belly the main issue here?
  9. I never pegged a weight, just asking if there's the need to.
  10. I always start with a topwater frog here where I live in socal. It especially works in the early summer mornings when the bass come up to the surface before the sun, to feed.
  11. When fishing texas rigged worms or any other lure, when do you peg the bullet and why? I heard that you peg in heavy brush or timber so the bullet doesn't slide away from the worm when it snags or something like that. But then why, again?
  12. Well Well thanks for the tip though. You sure saved me some money (lol).
  13. Thanks for the tip about trailers. Never knew that. You know how bass feed primarily by sight? I would think you'd especially use a trailer in clear water. But I guess I should listen to the pro here.
  14. Thanks all ya guys. I think i'll go with strike king
  15. I need a crankbait that dives down to 20< feet in a color of nest robber, tennessee shad, or sunrise craw.
  16. Ironically, I was getting way more answers on other older posts than any other day. It seemed to me like every person in the world was on bassrescource.
  17. Okay so I didn't word it right. Here's what I meant: What spinnerbait would you recommend for fishing in thick weeds in ultra clear water in he most active feeding time?
  18. I use 3/0 Gamakatsu offset. Didn't lose one hook due to snagging.
  19. Nothing? I guess I'll find out myself then
  20. Alright! Talk about descriptive answers. Thanks Bro!
  21. Exactly that, what's your perssonal best willow leaf spinnerbait plain white and actually also the trailer
  22. Okay so let's say I have a crankbait with a running depth of 8-14 feet. What pound line to run at 8 feet? At 14? Is there a way to go more/less than that range?
  23. I'm just wondering if I could use a 3/0 Gamakatsu offset hook for dropshotting a 6 inch plastic worm and what weight for water up to 20 feet?
  24. I did the same thing with my first catfish and probably all time best at a public lake. I brought it all the way to shore, (didn't bring a net so look who's smarter now) and at some point the line snapped and off it went with a texas-rigged 6" purple roboworm and a gamakatsu 3/0 offset hook. I pretty much died on the inside because of how dissapointed I was. P.S. I was expecting a bass on the other end of the line. Wasn't even fishing for catfish.
