Well, I bought a Abu 7'11" Heavy rod today while on sale and not really sure what to do with it. What do you fish with a rod with those stats?

I went to Dick's this morning on the way to work after seeing some people talking about their clearance sales. I picked up a Abu Veritas 7' Med rod for 52.48. Reg 100.00 and a Abu 7' 11" Heavy rod for 67.48 reg 120.00. Also a Strike King black Buzz Bait for .73 cents. and a 38 oz jig for 1.73. All of their prices on terminal and lures that end in .47 or .97 are another 1/2 off the clearance price. Good deals.

Thanks for the web add. Slonezp. The Dual Pro is 360.00 and the MK from Academy is 170.00. Big difference for 3 bank chargers. I have no experience with either. Is there that much difference in the two?

I had to take a CRAP! So, I hung off the edge of my aluminum boat swaying and praying. But it hit the edge just right and bounced into the boat. I forgot to bring the toilet paper. Yea, you guessed it. I had to get it out. Sucked!!!

i have looked at a couple new reels lately and didn't buy them because of this new adjustment concept. Why didn't they just stick with the dial on the side. So much easier. When the salesman showed me how to do it, a pin fell out as soon as he took the cover off. No thank you for me.

The water was a little stained. About 2 foot visibility. The crank was only running about 3-4 foot. It was a lipless.

But will I still be able to let water in and out when I chose too?

I just bought a 2005 Stratus and it is my first experience with a fiberglass boat. The problem is when I put the boat in the water, the rear live well gets water in it without me turning on any pumps. Why is this happening? I am use to aluminum jon boats, so this is new to me. I went again yesterday and fished several cranks with no luck and then went back to my go-to RED crank and wham, 3 fish in just a few minutes. They just love the red.

Is thru hull and shoot thru that same thing? If not, what is the difference? I just bought my first big bass boat. A 2005 Stratus Pro 285 XL and need to install a nice Humminbird with side scan and down imaging. It has a Lowrance in dash but need something nicer. I"m just confused with the transducers. Any help understanding is greatly appreciated. Vic
