Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Does winning a TW contest count here? If so I won one of the vlog giveaways. Only thing not pictured is the Gill gloves and a Denali rod. Anyone ever use one? Decent rod?

Worm Storage? Bag Or Box?
I keep mine in original packaging and as soon as the wife isn't paying attention I will be buying a plano kvd speedbag worm file. It holds 45 bags according to the TW website. Trying my hardest to be a co-angler this year.

Looking For A Portable Depth Finder.
Inexpensive but feature packed is my goal. I would love suggestions on a depth finder that is in the $250ish price range that has a ton of features. Including side or down imaging. If one exists. I am also interested in the hardware you are using to mount the depth finder to make it portable.

Looking For A Portable Depth Finder.
I don't own a boat but often am on a rental boat or a family members boat. I would love to find a portable depth finder. I have seen the humminbird fishin buddy finders, but I would like something better. I want something with side or down imaging. If anyone has any ideas that would be great.

Help Me Buy Two Rods.
I ordered the 6'6" medium action, and the 7'3" medium heavy. They arrived yesterday. I got to throw them for about 15 minutes. They are miles ahead of the trash I was using. I cant wait to catch a fish on one. I will report back when that happens.

Help Me Buy Two Rods.
I need some advice on purchasing two rods. I have two Abu Garcia promax baitcasters. I also have an Abu Orra sx combo that came on a 7ft medium heavy Orra sx rod with micro guides that I have been throwing frogs on. Am I using that rod correctly? I need to purchase two rods for the two promax reels and have about $150 total to spend. Looking for suggestions, I need to cover all types of baits with three rods. (I also have a medium light spinning combo I use for light stuff) sorry the post is poorly constructed, football is on. WHO DEY!

Black Bars On Strike King S11 Bristol Sunglasses
They are made that way. They are darker on top and bottom so that it reflects more of the glare off the water. they leave the middle a little bit lighter so that it makes sight fishing easier. I found a video from icast a year or two ago (I think) where they explain this. by the way, best fishing sunglasses I have ever owned.

Pinky Finger Pain When Setting The Hook
Thanks for all the replies. I moved my grip. I am now holding with all fingers in front of the trigger. So far, no pain. I didn't think I would have enough power to set the hook when gripping that way. I was wrong. Again thanks, this is quickly becoming my favorite fishing website.

Pinky Finger Pain When Setting The Hook
It has been on multiple different rods and reels. I do wear a wedding ring but have taken it off and still get the pain on hard hook sets. Especially frog fishing. Are there any decent, inexpensive rods out there for baitcasters without the trigger?

Pinky Finger Pain When Setting The Hook
I am just getting back into bass fishing hard core after several years off. This is also my first year using a baitcaster. I used to only use spin cast gear. I am having a problem when setting the hook on a fish. The trigger (?) on the rod is digging into my pinky, close to the webbing of the finger and causing some pretty noticeable pain. I hold the rod with the trigger between my ring and pinky finger because it is the only way that feels comfortable, minus the pain on hook sets. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what can I do to not get that pain? Thanks for any help and advice.
