  1. Dead tie... 2015 Lew's Team Lite 2013 Team Pro
  2. And KVD Sexy Frog...I don't know who "Sexy Frog is, but he makes good lures!
  3. Can't lock it now...it just got interesting.
  4. Hehehe...noted. I'm to busy with trout in the winter anyhow.
  5. Hahaha...I thought everyone was on board. I'm not lefty, don't own a Steez, and get bored and like to have fun conversations with strangers. It don't get much stranger than this group! Hehehe. It was satire from the get go.
  6. Hahaha! HAHAHA! BAH! Funny
  7. Some bass fisherman will buy any accessory.
  8. Question...bas fisherman go hog nuts about proper presentation and realistic lures... When have you ever seen a real live frog "walk the dog"? 2. Saying the Live Target or Lunker Hunt frogs look the most realistic seems to be important, but bass really aren't that smart. What the crap is a chatterbait supposed to look like because it's not realistic? A Senko isn't a realistic looking bait. Heck...a Mepps doesn't really look like any aquatic animal but we use them and they work...we will spend $50+ on a swimbait because the paint job looks the most realistic. I think we go a little overboard in thinking bass can discern one paint scene over another. Back to the topic: I've got several frogs from KVD to Live Target to H2O abd they all do fine....but the Live Target Field Mouse has caught me a lot of fish too.
  9. Nope...not just yet. Still Senko's.
  10. Hahaha, that snap swivel is actually hanging on a clip on my belt loop. . I told myself I was only taking a few baits out today so I could concentrate on the swim jigs...so I snap clipped a couple frogs, Texas rig worn, and my swim jigs on my belt loop. It was nice not taking my take bag with me.
  11. Well peeps...I thank you for the advice... .. . . . .

I don't get this frustration because I have no idea what it's like to see down in the water. My water here is usually murk
  13. Cool, thanks. Will do.
  14. Alrighty, so I git myself 3 SK swim jigs. 1x shad, 1x watermelon, 1x bitsy watermelon thingy. I put a watermelon swim trailer on the dark ones, and a white Havoc paddle tail taller on the shad. Well see how it goes...fingers crossed. 1 more thing... I've read that you should bounce them off the bottom. You should swim them as fast as your reel will crank. You should swim them slow. Are all of the above good options because each technique was "the only way to use them" according to the authors?
  15. It will component my left-handed screw driver nicely.
  16. I've had times when it looks like a hit, but it's a tail-tap. The fish will smack at the frog then come back. If you see a disturbance, wait and look at the frog. If it's still there...let it sit or give it a tiny twitch enough to make ripples. The bass will generally come back and take it down. Then wait a 1/2 second before the hook set.
  17. So tired of putting my lefty Steez on a right-handed rod. Everything feels out of whack. I need to source a good top-shelf lefty rod...7'2" ML M-S glass for bottom bumping. Thoughts?
  18. Another thing not mentioned...the spinning rod may be really sensitive...yet the casting rod could be a cheap thuddy stick.
  19. Quick question...why a medium rod? Any time I have to pull the hook through plastic, I default to MH...but I've fished many Senko's on medium. What's your reason for the preference? Thanks
  20. I replaced one. It's pretty easy, just follow the standard instructions of replacing a guide on YouTube.
  21. I have the Team Pro...not the Team Pro Z. They're pretty much the same except mine is lighter and a 10# drag versus the newer Pro Z which has 14#. I also have the Team Lite & my opinion is one might not necessarily replace the other. The Lite has Speedcast ACB centrifugal brakes. The Pro has MSB Magnetic with 4-pin on/off centrifugal. The Pro will be more versatile with lighter baits in the wind...or baits that have a lot of surface area for quick slow-down. The Lite cranks a tad smoother out if the box (only noticeable if your hyper OCD like me) and will cast the average bait further. It's also smaller so it palms better if you have small hands. After applying Ardent reel butter to the main on both reels, they both crank like German Precision. I like the way the Pro feels in my hands actually over the Lite because my hands are big. After owning both (and a Team Lew's Red & Team Lew's Gold)...I wouldn't want to do without either. If I could only have one, it'd still be the Pro though.
