  1. It's not attached. It's hard to explain but it sorta drags along the bottom. Only heavy winds and boat traffic can move it and it's pretty thick from the bottom to the top weather the top be on the surface or 3 ft below the surface. That's just what I've read online tho.
  2. So it's like hydrilla? It's hollow underneath? I read online some where it's not rooted but it's pretty think from top to bottom
  3. Accu Cull, it's like 25$ on TW and works great for me. Also has air temp and a built in measuring tape. Small, compact and clean cosmetics. If you want something for ponds that you don't want to take your 200$ scale to then get the Accu Cull for sure.
  4. I'm just curious if I can flip it. I know it's soild to the bottom unlike hydrilla. I flip penny wort, hydrilla, pepper grass, kissimme grass, hyssian, cane, ect. a lot but since it's soild to the bottom i don't know if the fish burry up in it or not. I do see a lot of bait in the area and a good amout of bream. I probably could work a spook over the top of it but I'm really i am just interested if I can flip it.
  5. Once the water temp hits 60 id go pick apart shallow isolated cover. Flippin jig, texas rig straight tail worm, creature bait and shaky head
  6. Has anyone ever had luck fishing coontail? There is a good bit in my lake but I never fish in it. Do bass bury up in it? Could you flip it with a 1oz weight? Any tips on fishing coontail would be great. Thanks
  7. There really is no comparison
  8. With a lews tournemnt mg the combo looks pretty sleek together but I can see how the graphics don't apel to everyone's taste.
  9. Gloomis gl2,flacon bu coo, duckett micro magic and a st.croix mojo bass and I have to say the inferno out performed all of those rods I listed, I'm making the switch to Powell and I will start using Powell rods and only Powell rods.
  10. The lake was hot for about 3 weeks after the post spawn but has now slowed down again, frogs seem to be the only bait producing fish at the moment, if any other lures/baits are working let me know ASAP.
  11. I agree 100% with you
  12. I purchased a Powell inferno in the fall and now I own 4.... We'll I own 4 at the moment,I will be purchasing more. Best bang for you buck, the rod is extremely light and sensitive. Best rod I've owned easily, it's not a 100$ throw away rod that's for sure, you won't regret purchasing one. And did I mention Powells warnty process and customer services? Oh we'll it's execpetion. Powell truly did a great job, no complaints.
  13. One coming your way! Thanks for the welcome as we'll!
  14. Thank you roger this really helps a ton do you mind giving me your email, having a locals in site on the lake would be a huge advantage, I just a have a few more questions about the lake because it's quite different than lake talquin and lake Seminole
  15. I need your opinion on this one. State tournemnt coming up June 20th on Lake Kissimme, I will be fishing the 15-18 division and I plan on throwing spinnerbait, big worm and frog. Those happen to be my confidence baits as well. I know what your thinking "punch and flip mats" well here's the deal I'm not that comfortable punching mats and I know it produces big bags but this is a jr state tournement and the bags really aren't that big. Anyway need Feed back on what you would do. Thanks
