I fish local ponds with a few buddies some times and I was curious if it matters if we throw the same lure/bait? Does that hurt the amount of fish we catch? We never cast the exact same spot but about 10 feet apart.

Local sport shop had 30% off all fishing stuff sale. Spent $140 replacing stuff I was low on and more crankbaits and jigs that I didn't need. Next weekend me and a buddy are heading to Bass Pro Shop for first time. Going to have to bring a gun to kill the bait monkey.

I tried this at a new pond I found and didn't catch a single fish. Threw a KVD 1.0 squarebill on before I left and caught a fish first cast. Why won't the Senko/Fat Ika work but crankbait will?

I talked to a manager at my local Dicks about kinda the same thing. He said most of the time people don't buy rods, reels, or combos. Everyone seems to get better deals online nowadays. If they buy one from Dicks it's because they need it right then and can't wait for shipping. So instead of stocking a lot of those they stock lots of plastics, lures, and terminal tackle. This is just as my Dicks though so yours might be different.

I have no luck fishing jigs at all. I tried 3 different ponds and caught nothing. Tried different sizes, colors, and even different trailers. I know there are bass in the ponds cause I pulled a 3lb out the other day. What could be my problem?

I have 0 luck fishing jigs. I have tried all kinds of colors and different kinds. Nothing will bite it. It's got to be me but I don't know what I am doing wrong. Keep trying different techniques every time I go out.

This is a private pond I was at and the owner has now told us to kill all snapping turtles as he doesn't want them to be in there. Next time he won't get to live.

I didn't have anything to cut the line (50lb braid) with me at the time. Next time I will have my tackle bag with me haha.

What do you guys do when you catch them or any turtle? I caught one today and he broke about 6-7inches off the tip of my pole. He wasn't happy with me at all and was definitely not little. Got my buzzbait back though after holding him down. So any tips on getting these monsters off?

Looking at getting a new baitcaster combo. I fish a little bit of everything and don't have the money to buy a pole for each type. What kind of rod/reel should I look for?

My friends dad uses Banjo Minnows all the time and catches lots of bass. I laughed the first time I seen him use it cause I didn't believe it would work.

Almost everything was $1 or less. Don't know why but I'm not gonna argue with it. I am gonna go buy up the rest of the Zoom worms cause they are only $1/bag.

So me and some buddies went shopping for some fishing stuff today since it was our payday. On our way through town we decided to stop at Kmart before Walmart and Dicks sporting goods. Boy did we find a good sale!! I bought everything in the picture for $47 except the Zoom Jr flukes and the finesse worms in the bottom right!! I'm going back tomorrow for more haha.
