Hey BR, I just bought me one of those white sticks. Yes i got a duckett. I got a 7' Heavy. I put a BPS PQ on it with 50lb Power pro. I will be fishing with it soon and will let you guys know what i think. i have used St. croix, Dobyns, Bass pro rods, G. Loomis (IMX and under) and Powell. Some were spinning rods. I have sold off most and only have a couple left. I will post a review in a week or so once i have time out on the water. but in my hands this thing feels fantastic.

3/8 oz jigs and t rigs what rod would be the best in champion series. 703 or 733 or what?

They dont hit senkos too good down here anymore like they use too. im looking at a 703 or 704 for Texas rigs.

You could get a cranking setup Powell Endurance 724CB - 150$ lews Tournament MG - 129$ (5.5:1 or 6.4:1) Thats should hit right around your budget and i would say thats a really good starting lineup.

Arizona water, murky water clear in some areas, ROCK, and very little grass. also, boat docks. i fish a lot of Jigs and texas rigs 3/8 for both.
