Hey....just want to throw in my .02 .....just bought a Cabela's advanced angler bag in size Magnum....holy craptastic is it a sweeet bag. I bought it cause I am doing tournaments as a co/angler this year. It fits like 8 3600's and 4 3601's which are the slimmer ones. plus on the outside pockets each can hold a 3600 x 4 plus the lid carries all my spare spools of line has holsters for pliers, scissors etc. it has so much room I am seriously getting laughed at by the bait monkey. I did not name all the room it has so there is my recommendation.

I don't have double pics...I catch and release.

Thanks for the replies....yes i am aware they CAN make progressives with polarization....I am seeking experience with having them and if you would opt for NON progressives for sunglasses.

Heading down to Islamorada on the 24th anyone have any fishing spot suggestions or live near by and want to take a northerner out on the water?

I was unfortunately just told I am getting old...by the standards of my vision. SO.....does anyone have any experience with Progressive lens for sunglasses??? Not sure if I should get regular Rx lenses or go progressive. thanks.

Need your assistance gentleman.....looking at the crucial 6' 8" MH F...for topwater, spinnerbaits and possibly dock skipping jigs. Just looking for some input on choosing the topwater version or the jig/worm version (which is XF).

no veritas for $34 at walmart. untrue.

I had the 7' 6" crankin stick and traded it in for the 7' veritas. the crankin stick was just to cumbersome feeling. i downsized to the veritas due to its ability to handle 6xd's nicely and well i don't throw anything more than that with our thermocline being so high.

It launches and before it hits it jerks the lure to the surface. I think it may be "eating into itself" but I am unsure of the terminology. I started with 10#PP and went to 20#PP...I am just tired of spending money on line for ONE rod. But people on here REGULARLY use 20# braid on BC. I adjust the tension knob for every bait change. I adjust the outside brake wheel... adjusting up or down... but find I leave it around 5 (mid range) more often than not. The internal brakes I don't often adjust its balanced so maybe that is my problem.

BPS bionic blade micro 7' ML is a great spinning drop shot rod. I have 2 setup for drop shot and they are a great bang for your buck rod.

I will be pairing it with a Lew's speed spool or Tourney MG.....thoughts or alternatives?

My setup...7' Veritas winch rod....BPS PQ 4.7:1 with PP 20# braid....why am I getting so many birdsnests and crankbait launches??? granted this is my first dedicated crankbait rod and first baitcaster but I have enough experience over the last few weeks but I do not understand why?
