Usually I go after work 6-7pm depending so I fish for about 1-2hrs a night. Locally at Okeeheelee park and the lakes behind the apts here (the lakes are fed by the canals that feed Okeeheelee). Im hoping to get a few hours in tomorrow some time. Hale I heard the Golf courses in Wellington are GREAT for bass.

Super fluke
I just started fishing with them. I did a search on the forum and found a bunch of topics. Well the other day we went out and I rigged it T rig weightless. Threw it out and let it fall, moved my rod tip a lil bit, reeled in the littlest bit of slack and WHAM a huge 1 pouner Next cast I threw it out and did the same thing and WHAM HUGE 1.5 pouner. 3rd cast threw it out did same thing nothing, reeled in slow and stopped and then I had to un tangle my sons line and reel up slow and feels like weeds and then it aught back. I get it up and a 5 pond bass ;D After that I got nomore fish but that was fun. I was fishing them in weeds/hydra, the baby bass color. Next time I go I will be using them again.

Weeds?
It's always warm down here 8-) I was told that Salamaders do not work well here in FL. I have never tried them I think I may gove them a shot though and see for myself. I took some advise the other day. I used the Zoom Fluke in baby bass. Casted right into the weeds. 3 cast caught 3 bass 1-5lbs ea. But after 3 fish I caught nomore :-/ but it was still fun

Weeds?
The bass at this one lake are pretty shallow 3-5ish feet but there are weeds and other type of water plants all over the place. I am fishing from the bank if it matters. What would you suggest for me to try? The water is pretty clear.

Bank fishing
HAHA thanks man. Went to a new spot today at a local park and I hear my stepson scream. I runover and there was a 4' python. I tried to get him (being the dumb NY'er I am, as my fiance says) but no luck.

Need some help/advise please.
We fished a local park today. They stock the lake with bass, panfish and channel cats. Well I want to catch the bass. The are around teh shore has a lot of weeds in the water I do not see any other cover, no fallen trees, no grass. I used a small 2" grub goin for some panfish I caught a small bass. I switched to a 5" cotton candy Zoom senko type bait and caught one more small one. Both of them were at the shore line. I got nomore bites or anything. What baist should I be looking to try? The water is clear, the shore you can see sunies, oscar and the 2 bass I caught. Where else should I fish this water? thanks

Bank fishing
I haven't seen any snakes besides a few garter snakes. Yesterday we went out and we seen a 5' gator. The first one I have ever seen in my 3 years in FL. Fishing yesterday I was using a 2" grub for panfish and caught a 4lb bass. I switch to soft plastics a few worms and jerk type and caught a few 1-2lbs bass. My stepson caught a 4lbs bass on a 3" brown grub plus a bunch of panfish.

New to fishing palm beach co... Usually got o Okeeheelee with my kid. Anyone recommend any other places in or around west palm beach?

swivels
I always called them birds nests. I pay close attention to slack and all and it seems as if the line gets tangled and won't straighten out. The line is brand new

Bank fishing
I usually fish a weightless worm or senko and that so far is the only thing that lands any bass. Guess I need to try more colors and sizes

swivels
I do not use a swivel and fish with plastic worms and other soft jerk baits a lot and I have been getting a lot of knots in the line. I am using an 8lbs stren original line.

Bank fishing
Any advise on fishing the banks of lakes? Especially during real wamr months. Latelye I have been pullin out some 2-3lbs bass from a local lake with a soft jerk bait. The water is not crystal clear but it is not muddy. There are areas of grass, the deepest part is only about 15' and that might be stretching it. I use the baby bass color and watermelon. I have not really tried anything else. Seems as it gets warmer I am not catchin as much. I would go 2 weeks ago and catch 5 or from 6pm-8pm now Im catching maybe 2. Any advise is well appreciated. I can also get pics of the areas I fish if that helps any.
