  1. A second-hand Zara Puppy I bought on fleabay.
  2. Those are works of art.
  3. If a human acted like a bass, we'd lock him up for his own safety. Or elect him to office. Or both.
  4. I've fished the Tchefuncte back in the '80s. I did alright throwing pretty much the same thing you did, except watermelon finesse worms weren't in vogue then. Throw in a Humdinger and a WobbleHead and you'll have the same lineup I used. If I went back there today (and if conditions were the same) I'd try a buzzbait and maybe a weedless walk-the-dog type lure as well.
  5. I might substitute a floating worm and fish it through rip rap from the bank.
  6. Hi Driller. I'll bet a paddletail looks pretty good on that. Owner Pivot Head
  7. RoLo or A-Jay (or anyone else), there's a canal I fish with a 10-11 foot deep channel and I'm looking for a way to run a Big EZ along the bottom of the channel and up the drop-off. The heaviest swimbait hook I've found is 3/8 oz. Would that be heavy enough to work a Big EZ properly on the bottom, or would a 1/2 or 3/4 oz jig be more appropriate?
  8. Yeah, if you're gonna lie you might as well do it somewhere where it's acceptable... ...like when you go a courtin' or run for office
  9. Cool! Looks a lot like a fly fisherman's Lefty's Deceiver.
  10. Coming from a saltwater background, I was surprised how easily they gave up compared to a black drum or a redfish.
  11. Don't sleep on the floating Rat-L-Traps, either.
  12. RoLo, I like the idea of this one (based on the Fin-tech Title Shot jig) but I'm not sure about that blade.
  13. I'm throwing an mj rig. does that count?
  14. ^^^ Yep, when the Formosan termites swarm it's a feeding frenzy under the lights!
  15. I bank fish at my spot and I'm not the top of the food chain there, so I'm restricted to lit areas.
  16. If the little compression band isn't doing it for you any more and you're starting to feel like surgery is your next step, google "Kelly Starrett voodoo floss elbow" and check the videos out on youtube. Here's one to start you off: https://youtu.be/0dgbCDtqdlI There's also a tool called an ArmAid that's basically a big nutcracker that allows you to release the adhesions of the muscles involved. http://www.armaid.com/page/2-602/tennis-elbow
  17. They probably think, "What the...HA! I can't believe they expect me to fall for tha...wait...is that other guy gonna grab it? Screw him, I SAW IT FIRST!"
  18. I've done surprising well on Z Man Hard Leg Frogz. Being able to stop and just let it sit there before starting it up again has triggered strikes. Questions for anybody: How well does a Snag Proof Weed Demon walk compared to the more modern frogs? And how well does it walk compared a hard-bodied walker?
  19. Johnson Silver Minnow with a pork trailer Heddon Moss Boss Norman Weed Walker
  20. Found this: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/116666-scrounger-heads-what-do-i-need-to-know/page-2#entry1276854 Great post! Thank you, Tom.
  21. Thanks for the replies, they pretty much confirm what I've found to work. I was just hoping that someone had figured out something that wasn't so prone to snag, but I guess that's the price of doing business in the rocks.
