Brayberry, best bass lake, and best panfish lake? I can get a jon boat from a friend, if needed. I'm a bass newbie, but not to fishing. IOW lakes, I gotta research, not many but I'll check.

Hey guys, does anyone have any input about these lakes? Good, bad, or otherwise? I've tried that little pier and zilch. Do I need a jon boat? I have access to one, but only if necessary. Any advice would be awesome.

Thanks Sam!!! I've heard of it, but never been there. My buddy, couldn't fish yesterday, so I kept it local. I am definitely going there, hopefully one day this week. I grew up on bluegill, perch, crappie, pike, and catfish, in Michigan. We loved it, and learned a lot. Again, thanks Sam, I'll be sure to give it a whirl....

Well, we got skunked, and stuck in a yard that was heavily saturated. No pan fish for dinner, and no bass for fun, but I made some memories with the kiddos.

Well, I'm heading out this am with one of my boys, maybe both. Going to stay close to home, unless my buddy in Gloucester calls me, then we may head up that way. We're just hoping to have a good time, and possibly bring home dinner... We'll be ecstatic with just a nibble, LOL

Hello, it's been a minute since I've posted anything, life!!! Got a couple questions for anyone in the 747 area code. I'll fish all year long, depending if my health that day. (Parkinsons & Fibromyalgia)... So I'm looking to bank or pier fish for crappie, yellow perch, etc. any direction or guidance would be so awesome!!!! Not asking for secret spots, just decent possibilities.... I'm in hampton roads va. Thanks guys

In the future, I'd like to buy a used bass type boat. Mainly for me and my 2 boys. My wife may go on occasion, but we'll see. Basically fit a family of 4. I've heard Bass Tracker, more than anything, or do I just look at John Boats?

Hey guys, got some great advice for fishing holes for me and my boys near us in Hampton roads. My other question for pond/lakes, would be where to fish from Williamsburg to Richmond. That's a stretch, but I'd try it every so often, if my wife will drive us that far. Those days are done for me, unfortunately. This would be bank fishing, so that may limit us, but it's cool. Being disabled has it's drawbacks, but I look at my glass as half full!!!! Thanks guys...
