Help In Hampton Roads

Featured Replies

Hello, it's been a minute since I've posted anything, life!!! Got a couple questions for anyone in the 747 area code. I'll fish all year long, depending if my health that day. (Parkinsons & Fibromyalgia)... So I'm looking to bank or pier fish for crappie, yellow perch, etc. any direction or guidance would be so awesome!!!! Not asking for secret spots, just decent possibilities.... I'm in hampton roads va. Thanks guys

Here's a few places I fish in Hampton Roads.

If you have a boat: Lake Prince, Lake Cahoon, Western Branch Reservoir, Merchants Millpond (NC) or Newport News Reservoir

From Shore: Lone Star Lakes or take a day trip anywhere past richmond for some smallmouth in the creeks and streams

If you can drive to Ed Allen's on Chick Lake he has a long pier and a couple of ponds where you can fish all day.

George passed away so i have no idea if they are still renting skiffs with motors or even allowing anyone to fish the pier or dock.

Check out this place on the web and give them a call: http://edallens.com/

Lake Trashmore can be fished but with the geese wire and other restrictions it is a pain. But check it out.

We have a bunch of guys that live in your area that can give you some good guidance.

Try sending a PM to wdycrankbait.  Woody lived down your way for a few years and he knows where to go to bank fish.
