Here is a couple videos that I posted on You Tube on how I tag the bass in my pond (1.5 acre) for tracking and growth rate. We have tagged 45 to date and plan to stop at 50. After that they will all be returned if caught after gathering length and weight.This helps us determine how much weight per acre we will need to take out of the pond each year. If we seem to catch the same tagged fish all the time then we know our population levels are in check. However if all we seem to catch are untagged small bass (ie less than 14 inches) than we need to thin the heard. Hope they help.
