I don't see spending that much for a cranking rod but thats just my opinion but since I use a cranking rod about 50 % of the time and do well I think my opinion is a pretty good one.

I have signed up for the Big Bass World Championship.

With Technology today I can see in the future a weigh in system that is part of the boat and linked wireless so an on going recording can be set up. As in most things the initial ones will be expensive but with time the price will be driven down. So Imagine catching a fish immediately weigh it and it is confirmed then release the fish. This would be much easier on fish and conserve the resource.

Close your eyes and remember that first trip you took bass fishing and the excitement you had and any great memories you had and think of it as just another awesome time on the water. Just enjoy it and go fishing if your thinking about it differently your going to have your mind in the wrong place. Read the water and listen to the fish and have fun....
