  1. I have had boats repaired at both Truman Fiberglass, and Shoreline Fiberglass Repair. And Shoreline not only matched my boats gelcoat better than Truman Fiberglass my boat looked better when they were finished than it had ever looked before. The repairs made at Truman Fiberglass looked like patches and I had to work every night for a week detailing my boat and getting dust out of my boats carpet.
  2. I wired the compartment lights to the acc. switch so I could turn on and off as needed. And I wired the the gunnel lights to a waterproof micro switch at the dash so they could be turned off while running. The led lights are very bright and I could not see past them during low light or night time conditions. Its also helpful at the center storage compartment to install the light onto the lid instead of inside the compartment. This will help when rigging up in the dark. Also BPS has a new kit including 4 lights for around $60.
  3. I installed Bluewater Lights in my boat last year. Its not to hard just plan it out be for you start. You will have to drill some holes into you boat. And you will need to snake tape to pull the wire, My Ranger has conduit running under the gunnels. I installed a switch for my storage compartments and one for the gunnel lights. The water proof micro switches are pricey, but the wire you can buy at Westlake or Lowes. I did need a few stick-on wire holder and heat shrink tube. I would recommend soldering your connections and shrink tubing them if you plan on keeping you boat a while. Bluewaters website has installation videos to check out. Last year I watch the installation of Brent C. lights on his boat, trailer, and truck, I saw things that I did different. It took appr. 4hrs for the compartments and 6hrs for the gunnels. They look cool and are a lot brighter than 12v rope light. Hope this helps
