I installed Bluewater Lights in my boat last year. Its not to hard just plan it out be for you start. You will have to drill some holes into you boat. And you will need to snake tape to pull the wire, My Ranger has conduit running under the gunnels. I installed a switch for my storage compartments and one for the gunnel lights. The water proof micro switches are pricey, but the wire you can buy at Westlake or Lowes. I did need a few stick-on wire holder and heat shrink tube. I would recommend soldering your connections and shrink tubing them if you plan on keeping you boat a while. Bluewaters website has installation videos to check out. Last year I watch the installation of Brent C. lights on his boat, trailer, and truck, I saw things that I did different. It took appr. 4hrs for the compartments and 6hrs for the gunnels. They look cool and are a lot brighter than 12v rope light. Hope this helps
