Bucketmouth King

I get caught up on work in the winter. Im a self employed guitar builder/repairman, and I tend to get behind in late spring and fall. Mostly because im fishing. I do catch up work in winter and summer.

Well my spinnerbait fell victim to a log later in the day. So since I was having luck with trying new things, and black seemed to be the color for the muddy water (less than 6" visability) I tied on a jig with a craw trailer and tossed it under a tree. Waited about a minute and when I went to drag it, one had the hook already in its throat. Probably my most exciting day fishing. And I go out at least 5 days a week.

Hey guys! I guess im over excited and wanted to share. I went out today to catch some fall action. And it sure was just that! The fish were hitting hard! I caught my pb on a black spinnerbait ($1 from walmart) and cut the tail from a black fluke to use as a trailer. They were pounding it ! Then I caught one bigger yet than the last! It was very thrilling. I wont post #s to save from embarrassment, i just started fishing in april and have become obsessed.

Hi everyone! Finally found time to join up. This is my first season fishing and I guess you could say I'm "hooked". I'm fishing ponds and small lakes from the banks here in my area daily. Getting tips from Gene's videos and articles here on the site, I've been able to land some nice fish already! I have a lot to learn, and I don't know many fishermen, so I'm hoping the forum will give me a place to discuss questions.
