  1. I hate when that happens. I remember the first "big' one that got away. I didn't fight it correctly and he threw my trap. He wasn't that big, probably 2 1/2, but it broke my heart!
  2. Lol there's only one way to learn: the hard way! I used to nightcrawler fish for bream, and boy those suckers can get it deep!
  3. I don't know, they're made by some random dude who has this company called "Megastink" or something like that. Weird name but I guess he makes good stuff lol.
  4. Don't own any. Just basing my opinion off of pics.
  5. Live Target bluegill liplesses are very lifelike. But their Gizzard Shads probably take the cake.
  6. Thanks. Feel free (anyone) to bid on this, I wanted to pass the deal along, but I wasn't sure if those were Cavitrons or not.
  7. Never owned any, but you guys would know: are two of these buzzbaits Cavitrons from Megastrike? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-5-Buzzbaits-different-makers-Bass-lures-/191492534454?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c95d830b6
  8. Ha! The problem is, I'm still young. I got dehydrated in Minnesota!
  9. My problem is fishing when I shouldn't be out. Like in the middle of a lightening storm, or on a 100 degree day with no water, or when it's very cold. I love fishing so much I tend to shrug it off, but especially in heat I get dehydrated really easily and have to watch out.
  10. Good stuff. Those new Revolution Reels look cool, and I can't believe all the Berkley bags will go for 1.29, that's a crazy good deal!
  11. Your frogging' rod could probably handle some deeper diving crankbaits. Looks like you have the bases pretty well covered, otherwise.
  12. I am who I am, no trying to hide that for me: A 14-year-old who's only fished seriously for a year. I love to share the knowledge I have learned, but there's a ton I still don't know.
  13. Well, I haven't tried enough brands to develop any loyalty, so I'm probably very wrong. That's just what it seems like to me.
  14. Yup. I have never fished a lizard before, though, so my opinion may change rather quickly .
  15. They also have the Villain on sale for 130: http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/abu-garcia-villain-freshwater-casting-rod/pid-772203?color=Grey&N=101+10001&Ntt=abu+garcia+villain&Ntk=All
  16. Academy has select colors of the Yum Craw Papi, Wooly Bug, and Dinger on sale for 1.98. The Dingers are in a 12 pack, which is about 16 cents per bait!
  17. Hold onto your wallet! There's some sick deals on there. Just three weeks ago someone put up a Core in good condition for 200!
  18. Slow down.....there's a very big difference between hard bait companies and soft plastic companies. Sure, sqaurebills and cranks are very different. Sure, soft plastics are different, but I really don't see enough difference between different companies (of anything, for that matter) to only stick with their product. I mean, how many lizard/worm/senko variations can there be? The real difference these days is scent.
  19. Spro Dean Rojas Bronzeye Frog in Leopard color is all I use. But then, it's the only frog I own.
  20. If it's a BPS bait. Their hooks plain out suck.
  21. Every day or every other day in Spring/Summer/Fall.
  22. How much different can a lizard be from company to company?
  23. Seems like every household (with kids, that is) has a bin full of leftover Rainbow Loom rubber bands, from when they were a fad. I use those, they work great. I don't know about 7 inch, but I usually have to double them over for 5 inchers.
  24. lol did you mean 80?
