  2. I gotta say Ike's new rods look a whole lot better than those.
  3. *** should do that with their Combat frog. That would be cool.

I thought you were talking about Okeechobee.
  5. I have a Vengeance and for 50 bucks, it's a great rod. Compared to most 50 dollar rods (such as a Tourney Special), it's very light in your hand and has a great reel seat and trigger. I like it a lot.
  6. I'd burn the bank with a spinnerbait.
  7. Thanks for posting. I've never tried drugs or alcohol and don't forsee me doing so. One small thing can lead to another.
  8. You can order from online!
  9. Buzzbaits are awesome, but I love using poppers. You can get real imaginative with your use of them, stopping, starting, letting it sit still, wiggling it a little. I love a good old Hula Popper for some topwater action.
  10. I believe the new Deeper GPS will do that, for the tune of 200+ .
  11. I'd go with the Academy route. I foresee several of these in my future. They look a lot better than the BPS ones. People say they're actually decent little baits and they have VMC trebles, which you could obviously switch out if you wanted. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-jointed-sunfish-3-1-2-swimbait/pid-22566?color=Bluegill&N=297679222&Ntt=h20+swimbait&Ntk=All http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-jointed-shad-3-1-2-swimbait/pid-22556?color=Baby+Bass&N=297679222&Ntt=h20+swimbait&Ntk=All
  12. Nice fish, by the way.
  13. If I remember right, you fish really muddy waters. My ponds aren't that muddy, and chartreuse/white is a great producer for me, so I don't feel the need to switch.
  14. On spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, I use chartreuse and white exclusively. I don't night fish, or I would add black and blue into the arsenal.
  15. Looks pretty good. I like the name, too.
  16. We just had homemade breadsticks with out favorite family soup recipe. Great meal for a winter afternoon.
  17. Just got a handful of jigs for the upcoming season from a retired FLW co-angler in my church. Custom made in his garage with Zoom trailers for a buck apiece! (Special ongoing deal I have w/ him).

For guys that don't fish for a living, that takes all the fun out. Even super complicated GPS systems can do that.
  19. Right now I'm using Yum Craws, because their baits are always in a bargain big at Walmart. Their Craw Papi, Craw Bug, and the Money Craw are what I'll be using this coming season. Most guys on here will steer you toward a Rage Craw, though.
  20. Harris is probably your best bet. Lots of big bass swim in there. Also, Falls will be on fire starting around the 2nd/3rd week of March. It takes 30 pounds to win a tourney during that time.
  21. I have not. That would be interesting to try, though.
  22. They did a great job with the layout on that.
