I made it to the camp Friday night. Had a lot going on, didn't get on the water till 8:30 sat morning, have never seen so many boats in the area I was at before, around 147 and Harvey. Fished two hours an went back to camp to finish up on water well. Didn't catch any fish, was fishing shallow, I'm thinking the water temp was around 53. Couldn't fish my spots because all the boats. Went back sat evening about 5:30, wind was kinda rough. Fished shallow again with no luck. I'll be back not this weekend but the next, water temp should be warmer. Maybe I can snag a few?!? Good luck everybody Stay safe

Fishcaller, please let us know how you did over the weekend. Northern coming in, always kills me. Sure makes it tough for me, some people still catch fish. Sure would like to know there secret, lol 90% of the time I fish shallow water, need to make myself learn the deeper water technique. Probably be a few more weeks before I get a chance to go over there. Best of luck fishing guys Really enjoy this forum over others, y'all keep up the good post an let us know how you did. I can catch decent fish one weekend, go back the next weekend, an it's like a whole different lake, lol But it's an awesome body of water, that's for sure

Frog Colors/styles
I know this is kinda late advice, but I really enjoy frog fishing. All your hollow body frogs are good, but for the last year I've been using the ribbit frog, an the blow ups are unbelievable! Go to Stanley ribbit frog .com an watch there video Shows you the right hooks to use an how to hook them an how to fish them. Get you some good braid line an a heavy action rod. Nothing better than frog fishing, day or night Have fun

Best Time To Use Craw Style Baits

I don't know much about them, about six months ago, somebody posted in another forum a web site had Powell rods on sale. Ordered a Powell diesel, heavy action rod, an glad I did. Great rod! Hate to order something like that online., would rather feel it in hand first Hopefully others will chime in. But in my opion only, I enjoy my Powell

Best Time To Use Craw Style Baits
Crawfish will change color as they age, you can google it an it will explain the process better than I can. If you know what color they are when your wanting to use one, may up your odds some. Match it as close as you can and good luck. Lake I fish has lots of hydrilla, creeks, timber ect Can be used all year long Good luck
