Strike King are good people. I broke the bill on one of their cranks when I over cast and hit a rock. I emailed them to see if they sell replacement bills and they sent me three replacement crankbaits for free!

I don't have a problem buying online, as long as the shipping isn't too much. Some online stores want $150+ for shipping. Some brick and mortar stores offer free store pick up, but curiously, Cabelas charges $60 to pick up in store.

I want to buy a kayak/canoe but I also dont want to buy one only for the price to drop $200+ in two weeks. With summer nearly over, in retail terms, what is the best time of the year to buy one?
