  1. https://apmerchandise.com/collections/frontpage/products/ap-fishing-backpack Has room for 3 3700 plano boxes in the bottom (not included) and the top has room for your plastics. Also has rod holders on the side of the bag.
  2. I dont see why you couldn't. I've used my 7' mh veritas rod for frogs without any issues.
  3. I've had vanish break several times on me. Always when casting, never when I had a fish on.
  4. Can you fit the rods diagonally in your bed? I have a 6'6'' bed and I'm able to fit rods almost 8' long in it.
  5. Is the Fat Ika much different than the Damiki Hydra? I've been using the Damiki Hydra on and off for the last couple years and I haven't seen huge benefit to using it over a craw style bait or even a worm.
  6. Caught 3 LMB's on the ned rig today in about 20 minutes. They were on the smaller side, but it was effective.
  7. It was an in store promotion. I was tempted by the sale, but didn't bite.
  8. I've only caught one fish so far this season. It was a monster too! Spro little john 50.
  9. I threw a square bill too far and it hit some rocks. The bill shattered on impact. I emailed Strike King trying to buy a replacement bill, they asked for my address to send me a replacement bait. When I got the package inside was 3 baits, a catalog and a hat.
  10. There are several reviews on TW that comment about a lack of quality control with these baits. (Bills falling out, dont run true and need to be tuned right out of the box) For a $12 there should be very few negative comments about quality control issues. That being said, yesterday I picked up 4 at Gander Mountain.
  11. I picked up a couple 90's but havent been able to fish them yet. I looked at the 130's but they just seemed too big for any bass in my area.
  12. I picked up some a pack of Keitech fats and a couple bags of Berkley Ripple Shad. Now I'm just waiting on the weather to cooperate to try them out.
  13. I like jigs and senkos.
  14. I prefer to go with deeper diving baits. Adjust your retrieve speed to regulate the swim depth.
  15. Seems too good to be true, but its worth a shot since they're only a couple bucks.
  16. I like Buckeye Lure jigs.
  17. I have one and I havent caught anything with it. Top water baits are not my confidence bait though, so I really only fish them when nothing else seems to work.
  18. I toured my local DSG today and nothing was really on sale.
  19. My buddy got me into fishing a couple years ago and he told me: be careful fishing gets expensive. One of my other hobbies is guns. Shooting, reloading, collecting; I love them. Compared to guns fishing isn't really all that expensive. It seems like fishing really starts to get expensive when you get a boat and electronics and such. If you're just bank fishing its a pretty affordable hobby. For the price of a box of ammo you can get a couple bags of plastics and some hooks and fish all day. 50 rounds of ammo wont last nearly as long.
  20. Smallmouth - Damiki Hyrda Largmouth - Black/blue Buckeye Lures Mop Jig (3/8) with a Blue/black rage craw.
  21. I have a few of the square bills and the tate pencil. The first time I used one I hooked a bass. After that I never got a bite on any of them. Over the course of last season I kind of lost confidence in hard baits, yamamoto and other as well, so I may not have been fishing them as effectively as I otherwise would have.
  22. I'm a big fan of Lews. I have 5 of their reels. My buddy is a die hard Abu guy and he's starting to want a Lews reel after fishing with mine.
  23. I'm interested to see how productive they are. I've watched several videos but it seems like there are far more videos where nothing is caught.
  24. You're going to pay for shipping one way or another. Either you'll pay more for the product and not pay for shipping or pay less for the product and pay for shipping separately. Shipping is a huge expense for companies. Last year amazon spent over $6 billion on shipping and only charged their customers a little over $3 billion for shipping.
