I've tried that......it's usually a tangled mess when I go to put the rod back together.

I was thinking those and a hyper-snap would work, but wasn't sure if the swivels were small enough. I'll grab some and try it out.

I do a lot of hiking/fishing, and I use a St Croix 3-piece rod. The problem I'm having is the time it takes to assemble/dis-assemble my rig when I get to a spot of water. I'd really like to have some sort of micro swivel quick-connector that's small enough to fit through the eyes on the rod so that I'm not constantly tying knots when I take the rig apart to move to a new location. Can anyone recommend a product, or homemade type rig that'd work for me?
