  1. Ok, then you will definitely be fine with the combo you are purchasing. As for weeds, I only fish walking baits if there is grass nearby or there are schooling fish.
  2. White river is getting better, but it still needs LOTS of work. But yes, I know some guys who have been catching some nice smallmouth out there lately.
  3. It depends on the bait, and how you want it presented and what the fish want. Try both, and add a Texpose to that as well.
  4. Welcome! It's awesome that you found your way back to fishing. I can't say that the girl bug has bitten me yet... but we'll see.
  5. Yep, this right here.
  6. That's a steal! Do they ever do this online? I'd buy one in a heartbeat!
  7. Should the lengths be different between the two legs?
  8. In store. I got so close but couldn't pull myself to do it. Maybe next time.
  9. What about Eagle Creek reservoir? Haven't fished it in a while.
  10. How long do you like skirt legs on your frog? I'm looking for the best walk the dog action for Live Target and Booyah frogs. They walk good but was wondering if the legs matter
  11. For the baits you have mentioned you would probably be fine with what you mentioned. Do you fish frogs or treble hooked topwaters because those are two very different critters.
  12. Well, where do you want to start? We can start with the Ottomans (1299-1923) the Sasanids, the Assyrians, the Seljuqs, the Achamaemenids.. We could go all day discussing empires in the middle east simply based on the conquest and rule of other people by the sword.
  13. I'd look into the F&S Tech Spec Black as well. The soft plastic model would probably do you a decent job. Or a Berkley Amp or Lightning rod Medium. Or, better yet, find a used rod. Look on Craigslist or somewhere that sells used tackle. I got a St. Croix Triumph, and BPS Extreme for $40 used.
  14. This. I feel like you might even be better suited buying two combos, but obviously if you can't afford it that's out of the question. What are the main lures you fish?
  15. BTW Lucky Craft SR Squarebills are 3 for $20 at DSG. Just couldn't pull the trigger today.
  16. I've got a new one! These were BOGO at DSG. I wouldn't buy them for $9 but for $4.50 a pop i said id give it a shot. Will see how they compare. Next Squarebills to try on my short list are the Yamamoto 100 and the Lucky Craft SR series.
  17. I would buy Mojo weights... Split shots are debateable.. But if I'm going to use them it would probably be for is fishing in some prestine water, so yes probably.
  18. Yeah. I'll have to figure out what issue it was in. It was pretty recent.
  19. Spring- Spinnerbait Summer- Spinnerbait Fall- Spinnerbait Winter - I'm to warm blooded for ice fishing LOL
  20. There was an article in Bassmaster about a fishing roadtrip on route 66. That would be so cool!
  21. This probably belongs in the Tacklemaking section. As for your question, I've seen custom painted Rapala DT's and Wiggle Warts, so id have to think you should be able to get them painted. They will probably put a base white coat over it first.
  22. I think its less about religions, politics, and everything else. Its about simply having an understanding for the world around us. We are all people. While we may not have the same ethnic backgrounds, vultures, values, ECT... We still need to realize we are all human and should treat each other as such with respect and dignity.
  23. Went ahead and watched it because why not! Also, it was quite interesting. There's definitely some logical jumps made, that I wouldn't have thought up on my own. Thank you for the recommendation.
  24. I watch Ted Talks on a weekly basis. I'll check it out tommorow after my workkout.
