  1. Reading the "Day On the Lake" in this months Bassmaster, and saw Jason Christie was fishing a bait called the Booyah Boss Pop... Maybe a reincarnation of the Zell Pop? I'm guessing that the Xcalibur line of lures is pulling less cash then when first introduced, so they are probably going to re brand and re price the same baits to pull more $$$$
  2. This season begins in November on Pursuit AND NBC Sports.
  3. What line/rod were you using?
  4. I would start with a crankbait to feel the bottom and find fish, and then slow down. Another good way to feel out the bottom is a football jig.
  5. I bet you that Wally World has employees that hold back stuff from the Ammo Counter. Nowhere else is that picked clean. Nowhere.
  6. What tackle were you fishing the bait on?
  7. What I can say is its dead. So 18 lbs or not, I don't think anybody will be catching it again.
  8. Outlet Bait and Tackle.
  9. Another Indiana angler here! There are quite a few of us if you take your time to look on the forums. Whereabouts in Indiana are you located?
  10. I think we can all agree this is some member of the Esox family.
  11. Lots of people like using mid or high gear ratio reels when shallow cranking because shallow cranks create less resistance than deeper/larger baits. As for me, I only have 1 rod for all crankbait applications, so I use a low gear ratio, but the Bait Monkey has peeked my curiosity in a Tatula for Squarebills, and a new, longer rod for all other crankbaits, so that will change soon
  12. No! Why would they do that!?!? Xcalibur Hi-Tek is by and far one of my favorite lure brands for everything from topwater, to Jerkbait, to lippless, to squarebill. What's happening to the rest of their lineup? Will these be the same baits with a different name? Will the price change? Gaaahhhh!!
  13. How do you catch these Snook?
  14. Now on my list too! Some of those strikes are so close to the beach its insane!
  15. What "low end" rods are you looking to replace?
  16. If they left their machines in their I'm tho king that they would hold fish!
  17. ^^^^This
  18. Thanks for the advice! I'll keep my eye out for mark downs!
  19. Ohhhhh... I get it now. I feel stupid forgetting it was there, but o well, what will ya do
  20. Boogie Boarding. But serious boogie boarding. Fiberglass Boards, surf suits, the whole nine. The ocean ate my wallet.
  21. PSA: Don't forget to take your wallet out of your back pocket when you go boarding. That is all.
  22. Lots of people here give raving reviews of Cabela's Guidewear rain gear. I have no experience with any rain gear, and am thinking about purchasing some, so I'm interested to hear what others say in this thread.
  23. LAX is becoming quite popular here in Indy. Avon Bay Lacrosse is quite the spectacle to watch.
