Blind Rod Test......
The big deal for me is handle and reel seat. The blank could be magic but if it does not feel good in hand I'll pass.

Braid Vs Fluoro In Thick Wood
Glad you found a good flouro that works for you. No one line is perfect so if your happy that's great.

Very Happy With Flurocarbon
Happy you found a good flouro that works well for you. I use 15 because the cover I have is not so bad. Tight lines

Topwater Baits With Treble Hooks??
Depending on how you work them length might be better a little shorter but the action and power are fine. I use a 7'6" for cranks and a 6'6" for most top waters.

Keitech Swing Impact Fat In Clear Water
I use the easy shiners in clear water. The impacts still work just fine

Fenwick Hmg Vs. Abu Garcia Veritas
I have used the veritas and the elite tech Fenwick's. If I were buying I would go hmg.

Non Boater Pfd
Expect a 20 dollar walyworld special.

Daiwa Sol And Light Line?
#20 braid or 6lb copoly. Both were fine.

Swimbait Setup
I am not into short handles on the larger bait rods. This is one thing you will sort out quickly. The difference on the dobyns rods is a huge deal for me.

What Size Braid For Worm Rig?
I don't use any backing. Never have and do not seem to have any dig in or slipping issues. Keeps my spool lite and if I have any ware I just flip the direction.

Blades For Chatter Baits
A pic or two of blade tweeks would be amazing
-
Micro Guides?
Helps with rod balance especially with long rods that you don't want very tip heavy.

I Wonder How Little I Know.
There are some benefits to newer stuff. The latest offerings in super lines are very good. Newer sonar technology is a lot better to. As far as baits and hardware I actually prefer older stuff. My alphas ito is a reel I don't plan on updating any time soon. Jigs are also a favorite. Targeted spending is valid but new everything is just crazy expensive, and not for me either.

Easy To Use Bait Casters
Spend more and if she likes it you may get....... More time on the water!

Replacing/fixing "non Tip Guide"
I would replace as a primary method. If that is out of the question I might try and coat the inside of the frame with epoxy. Flouro or mono this may work. Braid will eat that up fast.

Flipping And Pitching
Flipping rods are best 7'6 and longer because rod length plays directly into range. Pitching you can use a shorter rod for more accuracy. A flip is normally a few feet at most while pitching is for a lot further 20+ feet accurately

Frog Rod
Air en lies my suggestion. Have a spinning rod built on a good frog blank. Or you could use a mh or heavy avid spinning rod. They have a ton of power compared to a lot of others.
-
Tube Rod
I have a 7'3 2 power blank that is a mhx him I plan for using for exposed hook small tubes weightless 4" cane thumper worms and dropshots. Might be worth a look.

Frog Rod
Or a project for those suffering yet another blizzard. Guess I am getting old defaulting to projects not just buying. At the current rate I am going threw rods looking for the best frog rod it may be the cheaper option!
