  1. Largemouth bass. Variety of reason why it has a pale coloration and somewhat "faded lateral line" Vegatation gives bass(and other fish) a darker, greener appearance, so this one had probably been in open water for a good time, and clearer water. Nice fish though.
  2. Didn't mean to paste the same pic twice, but this is a different angle. Dad had just came back up with it and got it out of the net. When it hit, I thought it was a rock at first andn then I felt it doing circles and said to myself "rocks dont do thst stuff on their own!". I wish I woulda had a scale eith me but sadly I did not. Dad said it was somewhere between 16 and 16.5 inches long when he measured it.
  3. I lost an even bigger one about a month ago. Fished off s piernabout 15 foot off thr water surface and was using a light action rod and 4 lb test line. Got over excited and managed to get it out of the water and tried to reel it up but when I did thst, the line snapped it was easily the biggest bass of my life, a good 4 or 5 inches longer than this one. This time no came prepared, brought a d ipnet. Hung this one on the first cast of the day on a 1.5 inch silver minnow tiny shad panfish assassin. I was more patient this time, heart was still pumping though. This time I let it wear itself down and my dad went down to the water level with the net and I eased him over enough to where dsd was able to net him. I was excited!!! Dont grt to fish much anymore and to have something like this strike while crappie/bluegill fishing just tickled me. I know its nothing to really brag about but I think it is a decent catch. 2.25 lbs perhaps?
