Bass Beds
Hello, I just got into fishing over a year ago. I'm still learning. Today, I went to a local park and used a blue and black rage rodent Texas riged. I caught a few bass over 4 lbs. I also used a buzz bait and caught several more bass close to the shoreline. I used cheap spinning rods and reals I purchased from Walmart. I have upgraded to 1 bait casting rod, but I'm still trying to figure it out. Good luck and hope my newbie input helps.

Columbus Ga Bass Fishing
Went bass fishing this week at both Heath Park and Cooper Creek in Columbus, Ga. In all I caught about 14 bass. I released all the fish that I caught. I don't have a scale, but I'm sure several were over 4 lbs or more. I had a blast at both parks. I know I reached personal bests at both places. Looking for other places to fish. Trying to get into some private lakes around here as well. If you know of one please share.

A few small bass around the dock side and along the grass line way in the back and several crappie. Seems to get overcrowded and too many turtles.

Columbus, Georgia Fishing
I'm looking for a place to bass fish in Columbus, GA. I usually fish at Heath Lake with my son and a few students I teach. Anyone have any suggestions? We don't have a boat so I'm limited. We only catch and release.

New Member From Georgia
Over a year ago a friend of mine introduced me to bass fishing. Since then I have become hooked. I have watched several youtube videos and researched several websites. I am stuck on the banks right now, but hope to purchase a boat in the near future. I just recently purchased my first bait caster, work in progress, lol. I'm also a middle school teacher and have found that many of my students have a passion for bass fishing. Their knowledge is far greater then mine and I have learned a lot from them. My students recently asked me to start a fishing club at our school. We are in the process of gathering information to present to our administration. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
