I was wondering how exactly to use a deep diving crankbait. When I ever use one all I feel is resistance on my pole so how am I supposed to detect a hit? Am I doing something wrong?

Hey y'all I got some 20 lb seagar fluorocarbon for Christmas and im wanting to spool it on my reel but ive seen some mixed opinions in the forums about fluorocarbon. can u please help me and tell me what u think. the pros and cons of fluorocarbon?

50 lb line should be fine. it will cast much farther and will overall handle better

So I want to find a new reel to match my abu Garcia pro max rod. I mainly fish senko worms, top water frogs, and crankbaits. I want a reel I can spool with fluorocarbon and want to spend no more than 60.
