Hi I'm looking to buy a kayak to set up for bass fishing that will be easy to stand up in. I want to mount a trolling motor, and sonar. I'm looking at the ascend fs128t, so far that's the best I can find fairly priced at 799.00. It's 33" wide Which is nice but I would like to find one wider and cheeper. I am up for any suggestions, thank you

I can help you in the real department, Buy all lews bb1 pro series you can get them on ebay new for 150 bucks. I was a huge shimano guy , I had known about lews for a while but thought the cheap price tag meant crappy reel, I was wrong . I sold all my shimano reels and bought lews bb1 pro series with graphite handle it's light and outcast and out performs any reel I have ever owned including the shimano Calais dc that I paid around 650 bucks for. If there is a better reel out there I would love to know about it

I need help finding blank lipless crankbaits 1/2 and 1/4 OZ. that are similar to strikeking red eye shad.

I'm lookin at the cashion 7'6 hvy frog rod. I have never held one in my hand but what I see in the reviews is good, lightweight and can cast a hollow frog extremely far. I fish from land so some places I fish I need to get some serious distance. Any other suggestions?

Problem solved, no ar pawl, light oil on ar bearing and now it's aright . Thanks, you guys were extremely helpful.

I finally got some time to tear into it again, the drive shaft had alot of play so I doubled up on the washers between the drive haft retainer and the idle gear. Feels a little tight but better. I'm gonna take your advice about pitching the ar pawl.

The ar bearing I usually pack pretty good with grease, this time I didn't put as much on. I feel like the problem is where the ar pawl and the ar ratchet meet. I did not grease, and not sure about proper procedure.

Could it be a anti reverse pawl issue? I can hear it clacking when i stop reeling

I super tuned my curado and when I put it back together it seems to have alot of play when reeling and stopping. I did remove all lubricants and re lubed, It doesn't feel as smooth as expected with all bearings switched over to orange seal bearings. Any suggestions?

I supertuned my 200E7 last year, when I recently disassembled the reel I noticed it looked very ( dry) maybe not enough grease or oil. I want to make sure I do it right this time. What do I grease and what do I oil?

I'm looking to buy a new reel for pitching, preferably shimano price doesn't matter.

I've been practicing pitching and flipping in my garage with targets, it's a lot of fun and I'm getting pretty good. I did notice the handle gets in the way a little bit, is this where the telescoping handle is needed?

Can anyone educate me on microcast spools? I assume there made for pitching. How much line do they hold?

Curado 200e7 - everything metal polished, blue flake paint, supertuned, boca bearings (all of them), smooth drag and blue acrylic knobs. quantum exo - green paint These were done last winter so they have some wear and tear.

I'm curious why people are using them big foam knobs.

do they run about a hundred bucks?
