Mass Bassin'

my favorite pond in southern New Hampshire/northern Mass (the border splits it) is Tewksbury pond. I seem to have more luck on the side adjacent to meadow brook though. it becomes one big bowl of weeds in the summer, and it is great for frog fishing and punching. it holds some giants!!!

Navionics is the best, and for kayak/canoe/shore fisherman they have an app for your phone. It really helps for ice fishing too.

Thanks guys for the advice and I should have been more specific, most docks around me are aluminum so they can be removed when the ice comes in and I mostly use craws and jigs on 15# floro. I sometimes skip a senko or pitch a D-Shot on 10# braid on a spinning rod.

for fishing a T-Rig I would use a 7' medium heavy fast action. if your fishing heavy cover its a completely different story though.

I have been using 15lb fluorocarbon for pitching docks. should I use heavier line so I can pull the fish out before they rap me up on the pilings and ladders ? THANKS!!!
