  1. A medium fast is a good all around rod but u may need to get a separate rod for perch.
  2. the LFS is a little too plasticy for my likeing. ill take the orra s
  3. Their not always shallow. skeet Reece makes one that dives to about 15' and I don't rember the brand but their is a deep diving crankbait that dives like 20-25 feet. but yes their USUALLY shallow divers
  4. pitchin' and flippin' as well as frogs, spinnerbaits, jigs, t-rigs, and other things.
  5. Thanks for the heads up... I need to buy another before their gone forever. the new ones look terrible.
  6. The zebco omega is probably the best spincaster. I don't have one because I use baitcasters but my grandfather bought one and I've played around with it and it is great. I believe it also comes with EVA foam grips too.
  7. The Shimano convergence is a great rod for the money. the spinnerbait version has a great tip for jerkbaits and crankbaits. the only thing I don't like is that the one I have is a two-piece but they probably make a one piece though.
  8. when I see them but cant catch them I throw weightless trick worms and finesse worms, this usually works to catch cursers. If you see fish on top there will usually be fish below them and the fish below are more inclined to bite. Good Luck!!!
  9. Gamakatsu, VMC, Trokar.
  10. Some Senkos, Jerkbaits, and Rage Bugs and Rage Craws. and by the way loose the crème pre-rigged worms and save some space. they have no action anyways. Good Luck!!!
  11. I love them but it depends on the weather and season. one day they'll be amazing and the next they'll suck
  12. I fished with a kid in a tourney and he loves them and I saw him catch some nice fish on them but I personally haven't caught anything on them...they catch fish just like all yamamoto baits.
  13. i'm on the fence about the whole thing. I agree that they are just another tool but my friend brought up some valid points about why they should be banned.
  14. I got the shot and still got the flu
  15. I bass fish fish in mass hence the name Mass Bassin'
  16. haven't seen it but I want too... dose he shoot the kid with the "grenade"
  17. just got over the flu today
  18. what do u catch them on and what is the bottom like there. I've always planned on going but I never have. are there any smallies?
  19. yes, my dad lives on it so I fish it ALL the time. we live below the Lawrence dam in brackish water and still catch smallies!!! we sometimes catch largemouth but they are generally small. my friend has caught a 6# smallie on a bridge piling under 495. but it is really rocky and not worth risking a nice bass boat in and their is no depth map that goes up that far. we catch most fish in old, simple lures like rebel floating minnows. the current is usually a little fast for any lures that don't constantly move like shakeyheads. it can be tough but it is fun when you accidentally hook into a 15lb pike or a small striper. I haven't fished alot above the dam but I know it is good Good Luck!!!
