Detroit River Advice
Hey Guys, I have a tourney that launches on the Detroit River in late June out of Elizabeth Park. I am trying to do decide wether to run to Erie or St. Clair. I just wanted to know which lake this time of the year generally puts out bigger bags. I cant fish on the Canadian side either. I don't want to be the guy that is asking for waypoints. I plan on doing my own prefishing etc. Just wanted some general info on what to look for. Any info would be great. Thanks

Tournament Prep
Would love to hear what everyone does as far as tournament preparation. How do you guys break down a body of water in the off season and try and pattern fish for different times of year? How do you pattern where you think fish will hold pre-spawn, spawn, and post spawn. I haven't done much map study but am hoping to learn. Any tips would be great.

Two separate rods. One for the jig. One for cranking

Favorite Jig ?
Ive become a huge fan of D&L tackle's advantage jig. Love the hooks and colors on them. They have a great line of swim jigs too. Pretty good price too.

Dobyns Rods
I fish 3/8 to 1/2 oz. Not much more than that. Most of the time its in open water on drop offs. Lots of grass edges. I have another rod to fish the thick stuff with. This is mostly for casting in open water.

Dobyns Rods
Hey guys, Looking to pick up a new Jig rod and crank bait rod. I was planning on going with the champion series Dobyns. I am mostly throwing squarebills and casting jigs in clear water. Anyone have suggestions on a good casting jig rod and a squarebill rod. Thanks
