  1. I am currently looking for a rod to accommodate underspins (3/8-1/2), swim jigs, buzzbaits, and spinnerbaits. Essentially a blade bate rod. I fish lakes like Lanier/Hartwell/Keowee mostly here in Goergia but also go to other lakes occasionaly that have grass like Eufaula and clarks hill. If i mainly fish deep clear water would the 733 be a better choice or will the 734 still handle the baits better? Thanks
  2. Was thinking about getting a standard 7 ft medium fast action avid. Anyone like the X more than the original?
  3. Theye have a 7 ft. medium action in the tatula series actually.
  4. looking for a standard 7 medium action filler rod to be specific
  5. Thanks guys but actually discard the *** and add the ghost. I've had terrible experiences with the *** and wont buy another.
  6. Looking at the best rod in the 150$ range and these seam to be the biggest contenders. Just want everyone's opinions on what is best or worst and why. Also was gonna throw the new IKE rods in there but they just came out. Thanks
  7. I have a Lowrance HDS 5 and a HDS 7 and neither of them have map chips. I am wanting to purchase the navionics HotMaps Premium since it is on sale right now for $120. Would these be the best to buy or are there any better or cheaper ones coming out in the near future. Thanks
  8. I'll break it down for you plain and simple. I talked to Gary dobyns and he said hates the glass rods. You can now get the same action with the graphite rods along with all the added sensitivity. Buy the graphite. Not the glass
