  1. PM me.. I've actually fished that lake before around this time and caught some really big ones.!!
  2. I would throw a smithwick rougue on the banks where there's a steep drop off, which seems to be the north part of this lake. If that doesn't work I would throw a chartreuse colored chatter bait with a Reins Fishing Fat Rockvibe Shad as a trailer, but when you're reeling the chatterbait in be sure to just reel it fast enough to feel the blade moving... If that doesn't work then I would throw a finesse jig with a Reins Fishing Ring Craw as a trailer.. Good Luck!!!
  3. Thank you very much! I will make sure to get in contact with you before I head off on Champlain!!!
  4. You can use them, you shouldn't have an issue. I live in CT aswell.. What part of the state do you live in? Also what I really find to work are hellgrammites...
  5. Has anyone fished Ticonderoga on this forum? I posted a post about going up north on Champlain, but have been watching videos on Youtube, and I have seen some HUGE largemouth caught out of there.. I will be going June 4th-8th.. Anyone know anything? It would be appreciated, thank you!!!!
  6. Thank you everyone!! It was a great day and got my HDS 9 installed and it looks GREAT!!!!!
  7. I'm in Eastern CT and we have ponds breaking up now. We have a couple where the main channels are thawed.. But this only seems to be happening with the lakes with good water flow...! I'll be out on the water in 2 weeks!
  8. So, December I got myself a little Christmas present... I picked up my first official bass boat. Its a 1995 Javelin 379T with a 150 Johnson outboard....! And I'm going to pick it up on Friday! I cannot compose myself, it feels like it could be Christmas morning!!! Has anyone ever owned this boat? Or even a javelin at the least? I would love to hear everyone's input! Thanks everyone.
  9. Here in CT.. Lakes are just beginning to thaw out..
  10. Thank you very much!
  11. Does anyone on here film and edit their fishing trips? I want to start getting into and don't know what editing software to use. I don't want to pay too much either. I also would like to create a logo for my channel.. If anyone could help me that would be great! Thanks!
  12. I believe that a Side Imaging unit should have atleast a 7in screen. 5 Inches is just way to small to see all the detail that side imaging offers. That's why I decided not to get it, and I picked up the HDS 9 with structure scan! Highly recommended..!!
  13. Thank you for the link. But I still cannot find a price per night for campers. Would you know by living local?
  14. I wil be camping the old fashioned way.... Either in a tent or a air mattress in the bed of my truck lol! The campsite I believe you're referring to would be the Champlain Valley Campground. I'm unable to find rates that they charge. By any chance would you know the rates for just a camper with a tent?
  15. I'm unsure which state ill be on.. We are looking for a good campsite with a boat launch. Also I have a question for you. Do I have to have Vermont fishing license and New York fishing license to fish Champlain? Or can I get one or the other?
  16. I'll be up June 4th-8th. I would prefer to catch smallmouth, but a big largemouth wouldn't be bad either..! lol
  17. Thank you everyone!! Does anyone live local to champlain?
  18. Thank you everyone!

  22. How do I go about downsizing my image?
  23. Hey everyone, I have a fishing trip up to Lake Champlain in June... I was wondering if anyone has any tips or places to fish for smallmouth? I have never been there and don't really know what to expect! Any help will be appreciated!! Thank you. P.S: I own the boat showed in the image I attached, so I'm aware of the harsh conditions that could hit the lake! lol
  24. I live in eastern CT.. I do very well on the eastern and central side of Connecticut, but have yet to explore cwood. This year will be my first because I'm fishing the CT B.A.S.S Federation tournaments.! I have heard nothing but good things about candlewood though..!
  25. Hello everyone! Yes I'm new to this forum, and so far its awesome! But I have one issue.. I'm having issues with putting up a new profile picture. Everytime I attempt to, It gives me a message saying: "image too large." Could anyone please help me? Thanks!
