  1. I am hoping March get at least 2 weeks of 50 degree days to melt this awful stuff.
  2. C - because my boat had some big problems. I did fish a FLW BFL and did pretty well and loved it. C - overall though.
  3. I live in MA on the NH line. Rapala X-raps. Look them up online. They have shallow and deep running baits. They come in all sorts of colors. I live by these baits. Smallmouth love them as well as largemouth. Jerk baits are where it is at. When the spawn happens and bass are in the shallow rocks/brush these baits tick the fish off and they come and bite. When the bass are a bit more deep throw a deeper running jerkbait and twitch it good. You will find success. Good luck.
  4. I learned that Rapala still makes some of the best jerk baits on the market (Shadow Rap).
  5. So when do you guys realisticly believe ice out will happen in New England? Mainly around Southern NH and MA? I have no clue after this winter.
  6. Been watching since the start. I love it all so far. So cool to watch this live.
  7. I have fished or fish most of the places listed by everyone above. I just moved right next to the Nashua river. I have only fished it once or twice long ago. I am really looking forward to fishing this river now that I live so close. The Pepperell dam side of the river looks great.
  8. Fishing Pawtuckaway this coming Sunday. Any reccomendations as I have never fished this lake. Thanks Brian
  9. B.A.S.S. as well as FLW need to start bringing some events to the north east which is called New England. Yes they go to Champlain which is part of Vermont but that is about it. NH has some amazing lakes. Lake Winnipesaukee is one of them. It is a huge lake that could host any event from either organization. Squam Lake is another wonderful place. Newfound Lake in NH is my favorite. It was once the 7th cleanest lake in the country. Amazing smallmouth bass. You also have the CT River which is huge and has some amazing fishing. Major Leauge Fishing just left Sebego Lake and there are a few other big lakes in Maine as well like Moosehead. I am not saying the Elite series needs to come to New England (even though Winni could hold an Elite or FLW tour event) but some B.A.S.S. Northern Opens and FLW Rayovac & BFL events need to get up here. Dont get me wrong I am beyond happy to see events on the St Lawrence River (which I just fished) or the Delaware River or others on the east coast. I would just like to see events come up a bit futher to New England.
  10. Hey guys fishing a FLW tournament September 6th & 7th. Never fished 1000 Islands/St Lawrence River in NY/Canada before. I am fishing as a coangler. Looking for some info on what to expect at this time of year? What type of stlye of fhsing should I be looking forward too? What time of lures and bait should I be planning to use? Any info would be great. Thank you.
  11. Thanks for the info. I will let you know how it goes.
  12. Where is a better spot to fish closer to Wilmington with my 17ft Nitro boat? I have the wife with me so I dont want to go too far.
  13. How deep does this place get? Nevermind looks like the max depth is 185. The smallies disappear huh? Sweet. I am up for the challenge.
  14. Anyone ever fish the Harriman Res near Wilmington???
  15. Hey guys, my wife and I are heading to southern Vermont this Friday. I will be bringing the boat with me and wanted to fish the Harriman Reservoir. Wondering if anyone here has fished there before? From what I have read there are a good amount of smallmouth bass in there. I cant find a depth chart so I have no idea how deep this place is. Looks like I will be launching the boat out of the northern part of the reservior near Wilmington. Anyone have any information on this place? Thanks
