  2. I live in North Georgia and I was looking to get into some trout fishing this spring and summer. I am looking at getting an UL spinning rod but do not know the length I should buy, I would fish the hooch as well as some smaller streams. Also need recommendations on a reel and pretty much everything else I would need.
  3. Lately I've been fishing out of a kayak with my friend up in the chestetee bay area over near Long Hollow Park. Over the coarse of 4 days I had no luck with any soft plastics but caught some good spots on crankbaits. I had a Kanan Lures Alosa crankbait tied on my baitcaster most of the time and caught one good sized spot on it, and one that was barely 1 pound, both around 4pm and running the crankbait parallel to the bank on the drop off. If you have fished Lanier recently during the spawn please post what you have had luck with

  6. I usually fish on the banks or in a kayak in some coves chestetee bay and was wondering what yall have had luck with especially with spawn. I've only caught spot and only on a wacky rigged senko with garlic scent.
