Halo Cranking II?
I bought a daylite 2 medium/fast about a month and a half ago and I gotta say it's one of the most underpriced rods I've used. I love using it for squarebills and traps and it is a very comfortable rod. Seems to be very well built I would recommend it to anyone looking for a rod in the $100 range

Would you say the nrx series is "worth every penny"? Dont get me wrong if i could swing it i would probably have a locker full loomis rods. Seems to me your a loomis guy, any experience with the e6x series? Ive been contemplating buying one.

Ive often wondered what makes a $500 loomis rod worth $500. I cant feel a difference once a rod gets over $200

Help me understand this philosophy
I try to match the cost of my reels with the cost of my rods. I've often said I would never spend $200 on a rod or reel and now I find it hard to spend less than that amount for a rod or reel.

They way I figure it, by the time the cork gets too old and wore out to use you will have a nice vintage looking rod to hang on the wall in your mancave!

I gotta say new cork looks great but I kinda prefer the look of weathered broke in cork. I don't use anything on my cork

Argon cranking stick
Thank you! I'm up to 10 now, lol I held the bps crankin stick a couple years ago and hated it, I'm not a big fan of the bps rods and reels and definitely not new to the fishing scene, thanks for all the good info, I emailed trey at kistler and he didn't really answer my question seemed kind of like a generic answer nonetheless I still love kistlers. I don't throw anything deeper than a 20 ft crank and have the shallow cranks covered with a st croix rod.

Argon cranking stick
Guys I'm in the market for a new cranking stick for medium to deeper diving cranks and I absolutely love the new kistler argon series. Does anyone have any experience with the 7'2" mh cranking stick listed on their site? Only thing holding me back from snatching it up is the fast action it has. Im used to a moderate to mod-fast rod for cranks.
