  2. I’ll be headed to North Alabama, staying in Hartselle. Going down November 18-23. I plan to fish Guntersville and want to fish a TVA lake as well. What do you guys recommend and what’re you catching them on? Any help at all is appreciated.
  3. Gotcha, thanks for the info!
  4. Thanks though! I'll give it another week or so and if I still got nothing I'll give them a call.
  5. Thank you very much sir. The first link in your post didn't work also.
  6. I was wondering if anyone has purchased a new Minn Kota product recently and done the rebate. I bought an 80lb fortrex February 20 2016 and sent my rebate form in along with all the other stuff it required about a week after purchase and haven't recieved my rebate yet. Just curious if they always take this long or what. Thanks guys!
  7. Balzout FTW!! I'll never trust my electronics to any other mount.
  8. i know a lot of guys are puttin a hurting on them slow rolling spinnerbaits.
  9. theres lots of marinas on the Mississippi in st. charles. they're all in coves too so you don't need to fight current when loading and unloading like on the missouri river.
  10. mine is 6'6" mh and i love it for smaller crank baits and poppers and walking baits.
  11. Creve coeur lake I believe is an under 10hp rated lake. I'd try the Mississippi River, there's lots of marinas in the St Charles area with decent ramps in coves out of the current.
  12. We float the big piney a few times a year, so nice to go out there and float and not worry about boat traffic or ever seeing another person! Those goggle eye are good eatin too!
  13. I haven't used the striker but I looked into them, I decided against them because you can't network them with other units or store waypoints. The hb helix 7 the next one up the totum pole at $700 and has mapping along with the ability to store waypoints but again the hb helix 7 doesn't have networking capabilities.
  14. It actually mounts on the back of the boat, lift up the lid for the battery compartment set them in there and then close the lid, never had an issue with them and there is a strap to hold the rods in place. I believe there is a video on YouTube for them!
  15. Well once I see we have a few decent days in a row I will get the ol girl uncovered and do a compression test and check all the fuel lines and fittings! What is the ideal compression for it? And also I should've mentioned is a Mercury black max.
