Headed to alabama

Featured Replies

I’ll be headed to North Alabama, staying in Hartselle. Going down November 18-23. I plan to fish Guntersville and want to fish a TVA lake as well. What do you guys recommend and what’re you catching them on? Any help at all is appreciated.

green pumpkin red finess worm on shaky head or bullet nose . fish slow on points , lazer z shad tail spinner. you will loose a few because of only one set of small trebles , but from big to small they all tear it up ,and rattling roage.

Hey Lonnie,

Been trying to look up the "lazer z shad tail spinner" you mentioned...I may be headed over to Guntersville soon myself.

Can you post a pic or link to that lure...I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,

Reg

hey reg ,my cousin says he gets them at bass pro. they call it bass pro tail spinner. he says it worked great in October and November . he thought there might have been a shad spawn then and the bass were after smaller ones, but now in December he said that the bigger red eyed shad is working better for him. and he still said the green pumkiin red finess worm on a bullet sinker off of rocky points close to deep water is still doing good.

That is similar to the old “Little George” in-line spinner. One of the 1st Lures I ever used.
