Hello From Ne Ohio
Thanks for the welcome guys. Where do you do most of you Erie fishing corn-on-the-rob? I do most of my fishing from Cleveland east to Ashtabula.

Lake Erie - Buffalo Advice Needed
Thanks guys. The main goal is to fish Lake Erie. The river is just a back-up plan in case the wind does not cooperate. I really don't won't to deal with the border issue. How is the smallie fishing on the east side of Grand island?

Lake Erie
I have a box loaded with HJ14's and DHJ12's. They are popular cold water trolling baits for walleyes.

Lake Erie - Buffalo Advice Needed
I'm planning a weekend fishing trip in May to Buffalo to fish Lake Erie (wind permitting) and possibly the upper Niagara for smallies. Can someone tell me the best places to launch a boat to fish if I'm fishing Erie or if I'm going to fish the upper Niagara? I'm experienced in the western and central basins of Lake Eire, but have never fished the eastern end. I'm also looking for a motel to spend the night that is boat friendly where I would be able to charge my boat batteries. Thanks. Andy

Hello From Ne Ohio
Hello All, I live in northeastern Ohio and primarily fish Lake Erie within the borders of Ohio(usually for walleye). My wife and I make 6 to 10 trips each season to Lake Erie for bass fishing(mostly for smallies). For the last 5 years we have also made 1 trip each year to both Lake Norman and Smith Mountain Lake to bass fish. There seems to be a lot of useful information on this site and in the forums. Thanks, Andy
