Hello everyone, So I have been fishing a lot lately and I do not have a boat. So shore fishing for me it is. Sometimes it's extremely frustrating lol. With that being said I cannot afford a boat so I'm going to be getting a kayak here pretty soon. Just want to know if anyone else does their fishing from a Kayak. I can imagine it is different from fishing a boat, so I need tips. Advantages and disadvantages if at all possible. As always I appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

Really good article! I only have used Spinning myself. I am just more comfortable with it. I haven't run into any issues so I don't see the need to rush and get a Baitcaster. I have to admit I so want one for the sake of having it with me. For now, I'm going to try Braid line on my spinning reel and see how it goes.

You guys make great points. I think i'll give it a try just for the sake of trying it. Snaps but no swivels Is what I get from the comments. I do not have a problem tying the line on directly, was just looking for a faster way to get it done. Ultimately I may just continue to tie on direct.

Anyone use Snaps and Swivels? I bank fish and as you guys know i switch bait a lot. I thought about using snaps and swivels. Good idea?

I have access to a lot of bank. It has pretty good space. Dirty water, not much cover.

Hello everyone, I do not have a boat so naturally I will be bank fishing. Any tips? What baits to use? What should i start with? What size Line should I use on my line? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hey guys, I am new to this site and to bass fishing. I have always loved fishing but never took it serious until last month. So needless to say I'm BRAND NEW! I am really looking forward to learning a lot and I have already. The power of the internet is amazing. Fishing is becoming a strong passion of mine.
