  1. connector types for 6 gauge TM wire

    Installing a 24V trolling motor on my boat. I have already run new 6 gauge wire to the batteries now I want to use the best type of connectors for the batteries possible. Also looking for proper tools for stripping and crimping as well. Any advice on type of connectors and tools?

    I am looking replace my current motor with a 9.9 HP on my 16' monark bass boat. (10 hp limit on most the lakes I fish) The boat weighs in around 800 lbs. Was looking for opinions on brands of outboards. I have also been told to look at high thrust type motors. Any opinions on what brand to go with as well as if I should consider a high thrust. Thanks
