  1. If your looking for abrasion resistance try seaguaer abrasx. Trust me it's worth the $, and even though is a flouro it handles pretty well.
  2. I caught a 7 pounder in a lake about a 1/4 of an acre, and 5 feet(at the deepest part).it was skinny as heck but hey it's still 7 pounds. Oh yeah I caught it on a pumpkin zoom finesse worm on a spot remover shake your head.
  3. Keep fishing that jig....and don't put it down, you won't catch numbers but when fishing a jig there's always the possibility of a fish of a lifetime.Good luck.
  4. The best line for cheap is trilene xt 14 pound moss green.
  5. Invisx all the way!...no competition.
  6. I've been using Floroclear 15# without issue on my bait casters. I bought 15 and 20# CX that arrived today. I'll be using both tomorrow. I'll post my review in this thread. PS: Seaguar Invisx sucks! Hate to break it to you but Pline is for people with no money, and invisx is the best fluorocarbon on the market, hands down. I've had the same 15pound line on my curadoI for a month and landed several fish over six pounds with no problem. If over all Pline is poorly made and far inferior to ANY Seguar line, especially invisx.
  7. If its operating properly I wouldn't worry about it...what reel is it?
  8. If you don't have room for ice cooler that a whack on the head would be your best option, just remember the quality of the meat starts to decline the longer it's off ice.
  9. As far as rod management the milk crate is a great start, but the more serious you get you may want to upgrade to a YakAttack Blackpack, it's defiantly worth the$$$.
  10. 7 foot medhvy baitcaster 7:1,14 pound mono, square billed Crank bait (kvd2.5) 7 foot medhvy 7.2:1 (curado I) 15pound invisx, Texas rigged rage craw.
  11. Green pumpkin, watermelon, watermelon candy, junbug, black and blue.good luck.
  12. Can't really do too much with that budget but, there are options, Lewsbb1 speed spool, and bass pro extreme rod.good luck.
