I was using a small weightless senko on a spinning reel. As I was reeling it was spinning slightly and it spun a lot when it came out of the water what can I do to stop this error. I have re-spooled as well.

Today I went fishing with my dad. He refuses to use any thing but braid. He used 6 pound test on a baitcaster?!!?? He also like his breaking system loose. He got one bad backlash. (First year with a baitcaster) he then whipped it out very hard. His line snapped. This occurred literally 4 more times. Can someone help explain why it backslashes so easily and then the line becomes frayed? And what's the science behind backlashes.

Just went fishing and well I discovered a new problem the frog begins to float differently. By this I mean the nose points almost straight up in the air is there anyone who can help?

I use nanofil 16 pound test. Very thin line. No memory. Is not braided like braid but is made up of hundreds of tiny lines. Does not float sadly. It has no stretch as well. I get this line for free because I am close to the creator of it and I get many discounts in Berkley products. That's why I use this line

Hello y'all, I have been fishing frogs since I started fishing although I am not a veteran fisherman. Lately I have been struggling catching bass on my frogs. I have many blow ups but.... the fish almost always miss the frog. Like in mid-air the frog will fall out of its mouth or the fish will completely miss it and the bass don't strike on the pause. PLEASE HELP!

Yesterday a friend of my father's was telling me a story and how terrific they worked in sw Iowa. (Yesterday I won a 15 dollar fishing bet and found some money laying around the house) After hearing they didn't have the controversial bait I bought some super flukes. Would a faster action create a larger bend for better hooksets

Hey I have a medium casting rod. It is a black max on a pro max reel. I fish a lot with senkos. I purchased this rod and found that it lacks sensitivity and the tip isn't super flexible should I opt this rod out for a ML casting rod? If not are there rods with a more flexible tip and if so what rod should I buy under$75?

If they will not bight at all do research or practice off the water. And what I mean if they will not bite is like you have fished for a day or two and only caught like 3 bass!

I have a similar situation but my quarry is a little murkier and has a high blue gill population. The bass are decent sized during the day but in late afternoon and night they get larger. But there is one problem. The bass are kinda scarce, can I do something about this?

The bass in my pond are small because the blue gill are acting as a predator. This is bringing the bass size down and population. The blue gill are enormous lately we have been throwing blue gill on the shore... I hope this pond becomes healthy.
