I appericate all of the response I have gotten! My friend has a super pond, and I am going to print this and take it to him. I would hate to see that thing take a turn for the worse! :'( I am off to fish, and plan on doing a report later. Hope I catch a few! 8-)

Never thought about it being illegal? I figured once you caught it, as long as it was a keeper, that you could do what you wanted with it?

How do you guys feel about transporting fish from one body of water to another? Let's say I go to the lake and catch five nice fish, and decide to transport them to my buddy's pond? The fish would stay alive, but now they would be in another (Private) body of water? I am BIG on catch and release. Main reason being the fact that the fish can grow and may turn into a big trophy. (For me, or someone else) Reason I ask, is because my buddy has a nice (very nice) pond, and he let's me fish it. He ask me to bring in my keeper anytime I catch them at the lake. So................... Where do guys/gals stand on this??????????????????? :-/

Over the last few weeks I have been doing alot of night fishing, and it seems in the lake that I have been on the bass have just been picking up the bait and not really hitting it.............. Anyway, I probably set the hook 10 time last night and nothing was on the other end. For some reason I always feel stupid when I do this. I guess I feel like I am suppose to be an expert and only set it when there is a fish there.............. : How many of you do this? Do you feel stupid? Am I just over thinking this? How about the premature hook? I hate this one as well!

I have heard that ice can be unhealthy for the fish, but I am not sure about this? You may want to get input from someone else.

I am looking for a boat in the used department. New is just too expensive for me.............

If it matters I am located in Eastern Kentucky.

I am in the market for a fishing boat, but really don't have much more than $2500 that I could put into the purchase. I have extra money for the basics that I will need that come along with it (about $1000). What should I be expecting? I basically only will fish two lakes. One is less that ten miles, and the other is about 80. Thanks!
