This is my first post here so I'll start off saying my name is Roy, been building my own rods and occasionally will mess with making spinner baits and whatnot. Anyhow, I came up with an idea I'd like to try out. Problem is I don't know where to start. Seems to be a endless problem with this hobby lol. Basically wanting to know if anyone makes their own hooks? Talking about making and shaping everything, from the eye to the barb. If so what kind of process do you go through, where do you get the materials, and if there's a type of machine for this that doesn't cost a arm and a leg, what is it? Even if you built your own lil set up I'd like to see it. Might give me an idea of what I need.
