I had a 17 foot Ranger R73 and it was fine for 2 anglers.

You should be fine. I would say you have many years before part availability would be an issue.

I used to be a frequent shopper at BPS until I finally decided to do my purchasing at Tackle Warehouse 3 years ago. I never realized how expensive BPS was until I started comparing.

I upgraded my electronics on bow and console and purchased 2 new 10 foot Talons this year. With a couple new rods and reels and boat upgrades I would guess I am close to 8-9K so far this year but the boat should be set for a while. My wife likes to fish as well so we have upgraded some of her rods/reels also. It was my wife's idea to upgrade the boat and she proclaimed, "it is the year of the boat" so who am I to argue with her. :-)
