I never thought of that. Not a bad idea. I do have a bag with 2 big plano boxes inside and it has a couple side pouches. I keep a ruler in there and the scale as well.. just keep forgetting to bring it! Lol maybe I'll get a pocket sized tape measure

hmm.. maybe ill add a nice small 6920x for my 6.5ft ultr light rod. mainly going to be used for panfish. crappy bluegill white perch. even a dink bass or 2 lol

good tips guys, thanks! i was thinking that if i ever were to stripe or dot a bait, i can use automotice paint via airbrush and regular small paintbrush. and hit it with a clear if necessary. ive worked in autobody for a few years and still hace access to a shop and supplies. anyone used auto paint? the waters around here are kinda stained . maybe 2 feet or less visibility.. what about a SUPER glittery hard bait.. silver? gold? green? purple? primary baitfish is crappie bluegill and some perch http://metalflakecorp.com/metalflake-chart.html

I'm looking into getting another spinning reel something small like a 1000. I currently have a shimano sahara 2500 and was wondering would it be worth it to sell that and get 2 Pflueger presidents? I do love that sahara though. Thoughts guys?

I have no problems with my crankbaits besides the colors. I got two crank baits from a dollar store that I was thinking about putting some stripes on. Otherwise I'm talking about putting feathers on poppers or jerks. Crankbaits I would not touch unless they needed tuning

The store is called "dollar deal" and to my knowledge it is a mom and pop style store. In New Jersey there is a lot of dollar stores and I have not seen another one with the same name

since I am a bank angler primarily, everytime I catch a decent bass I never have my scale on me! Lol thankfully I do have the Rapala digital scale. Small enough to fit in my pocket... which is where it will be everytime I hit the water gettin now on!

Does anyone modify their hard baits? Things like adding stripes on the sides or feathers at the tail? I like to tinker with my tackle and was wondering if there was anything I could do to make the lures more appealing to bass Thanks!

Hey guys! Went out to my local pond today and caught a decent largemouth on some topwater today. I forgot to bring my scale with me, but by the looks of him I'd say this is my PB. Nothin too big compared to the hawgs I've seen on BR but for me... well I'm excited! What do you guys think it weighs?? To me I think it's a solid 3 at least (P.s. I'm a pretty big guy so the fish might look a little small compared to me lol)

Just went out today to my loCal pond and brought my topwater outfit with me. Cught a couple on that popper! Pretty sweet lure and the rattle in that one is particularly loud

Found these gems at my local dollar store. 3 cranks a jerk lip less and a popper. Not to mention they also had spinner baits (not pictured) I got 1 of each and when I opened the package, to my surprise they all have rattles inside them! Seem like some decent lures. Great colors too. All for 1 dollar. No name brand the package just said "fishing tackle". Just wanted to share this with you guys! Thanks!
